Fear and disgust are once again the focus of local attention, and unconstitutional restrictions on our First Amendment freedom.
Vail Resorts has implemented an unfounded and strict vaccine rule in its cafeteria-style indoor dining facilities on the mountain, and the liberal Democrats at the county committee summit are asking their Democratic friend Governor Jared Polis to implement it across the state. Mask and vaccine regulations. How long can the residents of Summit County tolerate this vaccination operation?
Local trends mimic the terrible state and national orders issued by Democrats in Denver and Washington, DC. Their strategy is to allow Summit County, Colorado, and the United States to continue participating in the Lemming Parade before the 2022 midterm elections. They hope to prolong the man-made crisis indefinitely, so as to retain election gimmicks that favor Democratic candidates, such as mailing votes. If they can let the endless COVID-19 intimidation strategy dominate the 24-hour cable news cycle, then they can continue to vaccinate.
The weak-willed sheep will continue to send misleading letters to the editor, advocating that everyone blindly accept the experimental vaccine prescribed by the government. They will maintain a high degree of fear to control the masses, so as to prepare the people for higher levels of government control in the future. If we sacrifice our freedom in such trivial matters as wearing a mask, what can stop an authoritarian government from imposing greater restrictions on larger things such as religion, politics, and family?
Austria, Canada, and Australia are examples of previously sane democratic governments that have now gone to the extreme of improperly restricting people. These countries have many characteristics of the United States that love freedom, such as speech, assembly, due process, the rule of law, and petitions to the government. However, all these freedoms were thrown aside, and instead the government continued to spread fear in an attempt to make one part of the people hate another part of the people.
This divide-and-conquer strategy is seen locally because our liberal county commissioner strongly advises local businesses, such as our largest employer, Vail Resorts, to impose meaningless mask and vaccine restrictions. Today, this is a suggestion, but it may soon become a requirement and then a law that penalizes non-compliance. Looking at Germany's recent blockade of unvaccinated is our possible future. When will the residents of Summit County commit a foul for this serious injustice?
Too many Americans are willing to give up their physical and mental freedom so easily to drink the Jim Jones cool drink convincingly poured by Dr. Anthony Fauci and his local county magistrate’s accomplice Tamara Porg.
We cannot allow our freedom to be usurped so easily. We must firmly grasp the hard work and enduring freedom that distinguishes us from the dictatorships of Europe and the rest of the world. What we cherish in the United States and Summit County is the right to life, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness given by God.
These inalienable rights are now seriously threatened by tyrants who try to persuade us to drink Kool-Aid for the greater good. The owner of the White House said it has nothing to do with personal freedom. He was wrong again. This is all about personal freedom and our ability as individuals to let the government work for us, not us work for the government.
Don't be misled by those who try to dominate you through intimidation, bullying, and mind control. Their motives are purely selfish, based solely on their desire to use COVID-19 power grabs to maintain control over individuals.
By allowing free market and private sector innovation to create solutions, such as "distorting speed action" and helping to determine public policies, we can avoid authoritarian authority and give everyone the option to conduct personal health as they see fit. This virus will continue to mutate naturally like all viruses. It will not cause all of us to die. But an out-of-control and authoritarian government will certainly do so.
Let us return to focusing on fewer governments, more jobs, energy independence, secure borders, and a gentle and firm foreign policy. This is America we all know and love.
