MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Digital Check's new TellerScan TSX40 check scanner made its debut today at the FELABAN conference, the largest banking conference focusing on the Central and South American markets. TSX40 is Digital Check's latest multi-page feed cheque scanner, specially manufactured for the international market. TSX40 is a brand new platform that combines the best design elements of TellerScan and SmartSource Elite series scanners, suitable for light and medium check image capture in retail banking and commercial use.

The new equipment includes many new features of the "enhanced" SmartSource Elite series models, such as automatic cleaning mode and ID card collection. As the name suggests, the TellerScan TSX40 has a maximum rated speed of 40 documents per minute and a paper feed capacity of 30 items, and it is affordable.

"In the course of our many years of international business, we realized that we needed a check capture device that includes a multi-page feed function, but for a busy Bank of America branch, it may not be all the functions of a production scanner," Digital Check Alex Trombetta said the vice president of international sales. TSX40 contains some options tailored specifically for the international market, including models with ultraviolet (UV) functionality, and a compact form factor to minimize its footprint. It contains the same industry-leading UV capture capabilities as the predecessor of the TellerScan series, including the TellerScan TS240-UV, the world's best-selling UV inspection scanner.

For financial institutions running virtual branch environments, TSX40 supports networks using SecureLink network adapters. The SecureLink device provides network connection via Ethernet or wireless, and connects to the scanner via a USB cable.

TellerScan TSX40 orders are currently being accepted by international distributors certified by Digital Check. TSX40 is not available in the United States or Canada.
