French auto company Citroen has revealed its electric car ‘Oli’. A car weighing 1000 kg will run 400 km in a single charge. It is powered by a 40kWh battery and a single electric motor. The price of the car in the European market has been kept at 23 thousand pounds (about 20.51 lakh rupees).

Roof and bonnet made of cardboard The specialty of the car is that its roof and bonnet are made of cardboard instead of the traditional metal or steel. It is not made of ordinary cardboard, but a special honeycomb format. Strong plastic coating has been done on all sides for strength.

Citroen got it ready in partnership with the German chemical company BASF. The vertical windscreen design also reduced glass and weight. Chances are that in the future, the car will also be launched in an SUV model.
