Issue 207: More Car Trouble: Hyundai, Kia, Dodge & Nissan

2022-09-24 09:24:10 By : Mr. Kent Wong

Car trouble can be frustrating and expensive, if not altogether dangerous. Here at ClassAction.org, a trio of new investigations have been launched with the hope of holding auto manufacturers accountable and getting drivers money for the problems they’ve experienced. The first investigation is looking to supplement a recent recall over a fire risk in certain Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride SUVs, the second is focused on allegations that certain Dodge Charger and Challenger vehicles have defective rear differentials, and the third involves a recall over a rollaway risk in recent model years of Nissan Titan and Frontier pickup trucks.

It isn’t all car trouble in this issue, however, as our last story will take a look at how consumers will be compensated as part of the recent Credit Karma settlement. We have all the details and the latest in class action settlements down below. Thanks for reading.

If you’ve been hearing howling, whining, and whirling noises or experiencing vibration in the backseat in your 2015-2022 Dodge Charger Hellcat, 2015-2022 Dodge Challenger Hellcat or 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon, it may be due to a failing rear differential – an issue attorneys suspect may be caused by a defect. One lawsuit has already been filed over some of the models, alleging that the defect can cause the cars to suddenly become inoperable and put riders at risk for injury. Ultimately, the case claims that the cars are neither appropriate nor safe for track racing or everyday use and that consumers have been forced to pay for “escalating repairs” for an issue Chrysler knows about and continues to conceal. Attorneys need help to keep their case moving forward, however, and want to speak with drivers who’ve experienced problems with the rear differential in their cars. So, if you’ve been having this type of issue or want to read up on the current case, you’ll want to check out this page.
