I began making these after abdominal surgery made wearing a seatbelt uncomfortable for me and store-bought covers did not provide enough padding or length.

Each car seatbelt cover has 3 cotton layers and cotton-poly batting. – The two cotton flannel layers are quilted to the batting for easier folding. – The top fashion fabric is a 100% cotton fabric of your choice. – I pre-wash and dry all fabric on high heat before sewing to prevent shrinking. – The edges are topstitched to prevent shifting of the fabric and seams during use. – Unless otherwise indicated, seat belt covers can be machine washed and dried on low heat. – Closures are soft edge 3/4” VELCRO&reg Brand hook and loop fastener or T5 plastic snaps in black or light gray.

Fabrics F, H, J, P, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 17, and 38 are 100% quilting cotton flannel. The other fabrics are 100% quilting cotton. Fabrics O, Y, Z, 13, 19, 28, 32, 34, and 35 have glitter. Fabrics D, 1, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 39 are shimmer foil printed.
